Why is NAR charging me?

NAR hosts the REALTOR® Ecommerce Network (RECN), which allows associations to process credit card transactions. 

Where is this charge coming from?

While NAR is the merchant for this system, the actual charge would have originated from a local board, state board, MLS, Sentrilock or an Institute Society or Council with which you are affiliated.

I need a receipt or other documentation!

The billing association will be your resource for receipts and other documentation.

I need to update my billing details.

The billing association maintains their billing information locally, so you would need to contact them.

I need a refund!

NAR is not authorized to intercede and refund transactions billed by the associations that use the REALTOR® Ecommerce Network (RECN). All refunds must go through the original billing association.

What information do you need to identify the billing association and look up the charge?

We will need the:

• date of the transaction
• amount of the transaction
• first 6 of the card number used
• last 4 of the card number used
• name of the individual in question

It is perfectly safe to transmit this data to us via email as by itself it is not sufficient nor specific enough to do anything other than a transaction lookup.
